1.18 MILLION DOLLAR JURY VERDICT FOR A CLIENT INJURED IN A CRASH CAUSED BY A FLEEING CAR THIEF

One of our auto crash lawyers, Joe Boatwright, recently partnered with long time friend and colleague Attorney Kevin Cannon to represent a client who was injured in a crash caused by a fleeing car thief.

On February 3, 2009, a car thief was on northbound I 95 fleeing from the FHP. In an effort to evade capture, the thief slammed into the side of our client's car causing our client to lose control and crash into the brush line along the side of the interstate. The crash resulted in serious injuries to our client's neck and back. In spite of extensive medical treatment, our client will have to live with chronic pain for the rest of his life.

On February 25, 2011, a Brevard County jury returned a verdict in the amount of 1.18 million dollars in favor of our client and his wife.
